Dr Agnieszka Żebrowska-Kucharzyk is a recognized Polish and European Patent Attorney, as well as a representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
Since 2002, she has been affiliated with Patpol, where she specializes in patent applications in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. Her expertise also includes supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) for medicinal and plant protection products. Dr Żebrowska-Kucharzyk also represents clients in litigation proceedings before industrial property offices (the Polish Patent Office and European Patent Office) and administrative courts as well as in infringement proceedings pending before civil courts.
She is an active member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys, where she serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. She is also a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
Dr Żebrowska-Kucharzyk holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of Warsaw. She also completed cultural studies at the American Studies Center of the same university as well completed a research internship at the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics in Frankfurt am Main. Moreover, as one of the first Polish Patent Attorneys she graduated from the specialist postgraduate studies at the University of Strasbourg in France, at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI), specializing in patent litigation in Europe, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court.
In private life, Angieszka is a passionate mountain hiker. She is fond of good literature and a big fan of board games.
