Monika Zielińska is not only a Polish and European patent attorney, but also an advocate.

Monika specializes in trademarks, industrial designs and copyrights. She represents clients in the proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and before administrative courts.

She joined Patpol in 2016. Previously, she had worked for a few recognized legal firms. During her work at Patpol, she has represented the companies from various fields, such as advertising, food or automotive industry, as well as non-governmental organizations.

She is a member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw, the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys, the European Patent Institute (EPI) and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).

Monika obtained her MA degree in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She also completed Postgraduate Studies in Industrial Property at the Jagiellonian University and Interdisciplinary Studies at the School of Social Sciences at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Privately, Monika is a fan of alpine skiing and sailing, and a great enthusiast of modern art having a portfolio of her own works and a collection of the works of other artists. Thus, in addition to being a patent attorney and an advocate, she also graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw – the Faculty of Photography. She also received a PhD degree in the field of art in the discipline of fine arts and art conservation.
