Agata Granis – Rafferty is a Patent Attorney and a Specialist in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmacy.
Working in Patpol since 2007, she conducts proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) and WIPO (Intellectual Property Office in Geneva). Agata edits patent applications and deals with inventions in the field of chemistry. She is also responsible for performing patentability and purity searches in the databases of the Polish Patent Office, the European Patent Office and commercial databases.
Agata obtained a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, specializing in Analytical Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw.
She is a licensed Polish and European Patent Attorney. She has also completed an internship at the University of Henares in Spain and holds a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE).
Agata Granis – Rafferty is a member of AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), PIRP (Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys) and EPI (Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office).
In private life, Agata is interested in the history of Warsaw and is fond of classical music.
